2020 - PRESENT: The brand new Rod N Reel Resort on Table Rock Lake opened in June 2020

Rod N Reel Resort was developed from the Pitman's love of Shell Knob, Missouri, and Table Rock Lake. Memories of their time spent there are some of their family's favorites. They chose to invest in Real Estate with a purpose, and creating beautiful cottages for others to experience Table Rock Lake became their answer.

Come to Shell Knob, on the quiet side of Table Rock Lake, and discover peaceful waters great for water activities and swimming by the boat dock.

From your cottage, it's a short walk to the fourteen slip boat dock where you can enjoy the swim platform or quickly load up on your boat for a fun day on the water.

When we are not at the lake, our home base is Wichita, Kansas, where we enjoy time with our children and grandchildren.

We sold our businesses in 2016 and moved to Redding, California, where we attended ministry school. We moved back to Wichita in 2019 and started looking for a vacation home at Table Rock Lake. That search turned into the decision to develop Rod N Reel Resort.

We had been pondering the question, "What business truly loves their neighbor?" The answer to that question, along with our fond memories of Table Rock Lake, led us to this project.

Our goal is to create an environment where guests will make lasting memories. With exacting detail, we have set out to create a space you will love and where you will feel loved.

Today our lives are dedicated to the Gospel of Jesus and loving others.

In addition to our real estate endeavors, we also have a ministry in Haiti, Walking in The Reign, which operates a school in Balan, providing education, food and water to hundreds of children.

We have been blessed to travel the world but Table Rock Lake remains one of our favorite places. Come experience the beauty and adventure with us!
